No gambling is offered here

This site is not a gambling operator, bookmaker, casino, lottery, sweepstakes promoter or affiliate. You cannot open an account, deposit money, place a wager or claim a prize through it, and it has no access to any account you hold elsewhere. Complaints about an operator must go to that operator, its alternative dispute resolution provider and its regulator — the contact page sets out the order.

No outcome can be predicted

Gambling outcomes are determined by chance. Statistics quoted here, including house edge and return-to-player figures, are long-run averages over very large numbers of rounds under stated rule sets. They describe the arithmetic of a game, not what will happen in your session, and they cannot be used to predict a result. No system, staking plan or strategy described or mentioned on this site will overcome a house edge, and none is presented as a way to make money.

Accuracy and change

Definitions are written carefully and reviewed against regulator guidance, official rules and academic sources, as set out in the editorial policy. Even so, rules vary enormously between operators, products and jurisdictions, and they change without notice. The terms that bind you are the ones in the specific terms and conditions you accept, not the general description here. Always read them.

Legality is local, and yours to check

Gambling law differs by country, state and province. Some of what is described on this site is legal and licensed where you live; some of it may be restricted or prohibited. Nothing here is a statement that any activity is lawful in your jurisdiction, and it remains your responsibility to know and follow the law that applies to you.

Age restriction

Gambling is for adults only: 18 or over in most jurisdictions, 21 or over in some. This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children. If you are under the legal gambling age where you live, gambling is not available to you, whatever a definition here describes.

Gambling can cause harm

Gambling is a form of entertainment with a real cost and a real risk of harm, including financial loss, debt, relationship breakdown and mental health crisis. If it has stopped feeling like entertainment, free and confidential help is listed on the responsible gambling page.
