Sweeps Coins are the part that matters. They are the only currency at a sweepstakes casino that can become money.

They cannot be purchased

This is the legally essential point. There is no price list for Sweeps Coins and no way to buy them directly.

They arrive only as:

• A free bonus included with a Gold Coin purchase
• Daily login rewards
• Promotional giveaways, social media competitions, referral bonuses
• Postal request: the AMOE, which is the route that makes the structure work

Playing and redeeming

Sweeps Coins play the same games as Gold Coins. The distinction is what happens to winnings.

Most operators require Sweeps Coins to be played through at least once before they become redeemable, newly credited coins are marked as unplayed and cannot be cashed out directly. This is analogous to a modest wagering requirement, and it exists so that the coins are genuinely used for sweepstakes entry rather than converted straight to cash.

Once played through, Sweeps Coins can be redeemed above a threshold, typically 50 or 100 SC, usually at 1 SC = $1.

Redemption requires verification

Every legitimate operator requires full KYC before a first redemption, photo ID, proof of address, sometimes proof of payment method.
